Use our free CRS Calculator to estimate your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for Canada’s Express Entry immigration program. The CRS is a points-based system used by IRCC to rank candidates in the Express Entry pool.
Your CRS score determines your ranking. Candidates with the highest scores receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence during regular Express Entry draws.
How the CRS Score Works
The CRS awards points across four categories: Core Human Capital Factors (age, education, language, Canadian work experience), Spouse/Partner Factors, Skill Transferability (combinations of education, experience, and language), and Additional Points (provincial nominations, Canadian education, job offers, French skills, siblings in Canada). The maximum score is 1,200 points.

B. Skill Transferability Factors
C. Additional Points

How to Improve Your CRS Score
If your score is below the recent cut-off, you can improve it by: improving language test scores (IELTS, CELPIP, or TEF), gaining Canadian work experience, pursuing Canadian education, applying for a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) which adds 600 points, or obtaining a valid LMIA-backed job offer.
